Drake And Lil Wayne Are Bringing Young Money To The BET Awards

As we inch closer to a release date for Tha Carter V, it looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Lil Wayne live. Weezy is set to perform at the 2014 Bet Awards on June 29, along with Drake, Pharrell, Usher, Jennifer Hudson and Lionel Richie. And since Drake and Wayne are already on the bill, it won’t be far fetched to expect some more surprises from the Young Money team that night. They recently put on quite the show at Hot 97′s Summer Jam, in honor of Nicki.
This year, Jay Z, Beyoncé and Drake lead the Bet Awards nominations with five each, while Pharrell and August Alsina pull in closely with four a piece. The annual awards show will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, June 29. Check out the list of nominees below.
