France’s ex-First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is due to give a solo concert in Moscow in June for the first time.
The event is scheduled at Moscow Music Centre on June 2nd as part of her world tour. According to the organizers, she will perform both her well-known songs and the recently composed ones. Ticket sales are due to start next week, with ticket prices ranging from 1,200 roubles to 7,000 roubles, the ITAR-TASS news agency quotes the organizers as saying.
You may remember that Carla Bruni-Sarkozy released her fourth solo album – Little French Songs – in 2013.
Whether she will be accompanied by her spouse, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, remains to be seen.
The 47-year old Carla Bruni was one of the world’s 20 best paid models. In 1997, she gave up catwalk modelling and has since performed as a singer. In 2008, she married Nicolas Sarkozy and became France’s First Lady. In 2011, she gave birth to a daughter, Giulia.
